I didn't know about the 41,000 Iraqi Citizens, but I would bet ya if I were a betting man that some of that high number were carrying guns and attempting to maim or kill American soldiers. Your number is off by a few thousand. Yes the american number is correct. But even if the Iraqi number is close they were not all Citizens. I think that number is actually half of what you just quoted

I'm not sure of how many civilian casualties. It depends on what web site you read I guess. However most of and I did say most, have been killed by cars exploding in the middle of a busy meeting place. If we leave those same people will be killing more than they are now.
