Preschools are governed by local ordinances just like any other business. Try the local code enforcement (city/county).

Also, state children's welfare agencies would like to know.

Since I have no idea of your location, I could not provide more specific details. In the state of Indiana, Children's Protective Services, Code Enforcement, and 4C's are all agencies involved with the oversight of pre-schools or child care.

Contact the municipality's board of health. They are responsible for regulating issues such as foodservice and sanitary facilities. If there is not board of health, the Parents' Organization would be a good group to talk to,as would the local building department and your city council or Board of Selectmen.

So report it to the city, state, or county officals right away. Call your local city hall for info. I wonder what else is not being provided there? It needs to be corrected right now and/or closed. Hope your child is not enrolled!
