It's not really necessary, but you can always just go get pretty paper from like Wal-Mart and just type us a little something like the date and who all is in it. I know I like to keep them from the wedding as a memory from it. A cute thing to do is to roll them and tie them with little ribbon, also very cheap and pretty.

No it's not necessary at all, especially if it is a fairly small wedding and everybody already knows each other. Now if it was like a wedding for like 300-500 people and you had some huge extensive wedding party with a lot of out of town guests and such then maybe I would suggest programs. Save your money and stop stressing about it. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding and Good Luck :)

Programs, get real must have been made up by the printing companies. If you need a program then you have invited way to many people that don't know you. A wedding is for the bride and groom to profess there love to each other before God. Family and friends are a bonus to be a witness to your happy day. Enjoy and live a long and happy life together.

Few people have programs. I did a program but mine was a traditional orthodox wedding and none of my family knew anything about the ceremony. This allowed them to follow along.

No I don't think it is necessary at all. We are getting married next year and trust me there will not be any programs. If guests can't figure out what is happening then I have no excuse for them. Good luck to you in your upcoming wedding.

Where I live (Texas), I 've actually been to more weddings with programs than without. I had them for mine and made them myself. We thought they look nice and that's all that matters. It's your wedding, do what you want. I probably violated all kinds of "wedding etiquette", but who cares! It's a special moment in the lives of two people, so enjoy it and do as you wish.

no longer mandatory except your wedding ceremony is of a conference that could be completely overseas to maximum of your visitors. if so, a application is an outstanding way of explaining your traditions and helping them shop up with the ceremony. We did no longer have one. after I attend weddings and classes are presented, I surely see them used as followers to relax off even as sitting in church. i in my view discover them a waste of attempt and money.

I would think that you could just as well print out a one page thing at home and use that if you wanted something to hand out.

I don't think we are going to have them since our ceremony is going to be very simple, not in a church and only 20-30 minutes.

I had programs. They were really nice. The wedding director I hired made them for us. I went to the book store & picked them out & she typed them up.
