No you are not ugly. Plan a party of some sort, invite a variety of people over even have each of them bring someone you don't know. Meet some people maybe you are limiting yourself to a small circle? Are you looking for acceptance from a group in particular. Let people know you are friendly, talk about your interest, and be interested in other peoples interest.
