Thanks for making southern california look bad. I'm glad this country doesn't have a huge statue at some sort of port with a proclamation about immigration...
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to
breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming
shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-lost to me
What's the profit margin on a californian strawberry ranch working minimum wage employees who are legally born here and demand health care, vacation, sick leave, 2 days off, an 8 hour work day, cost of living raises?? A HOAX!

Its nice of you to offer jobs to people. Is it OK with the State wage and Labor office for you to specify which race you are looking for? For the first 90 years of the United States some people were bought and sold and forced to work for nothing. Minimum wage is the next step above that. But don't worry with genetically manipulated strawberries that are less perishable, soon we will be able to get them from China for far less than you can grow them for and then you can find a new source of employment...Maybe for minimum wage? Good luck.
PS check on where Christopher Ranches in Gilroy gets most of their garlic from now. Last I heard, CHINA

Illegals don't work for minimum wage, they work by the basket equalling about $12 to $14 per hour.
Regardless, no one is trying to preserve your illegal profit margin. If you pay a living wage, people will apply. The fact that illegals drove wages below a living wage is a big part of the problem they bring.

NO AMERICAN is willing to pack 5 families in one house to pick strawberries in southern CAL while your neighbor is getting 12 - 1500 monthly rent on that house.
Tell your neighbor to lower his rent, and you'll find many WILLING Americans to work your fields for minimum wage.
Call it lazy americans if you want, I call it economics.
Besides, you smell like a troll.... the words Strawberries, and Southern Cal do not belong in the same sentence, unless you are refering to the area "above" LA

I would, without a doubt, alhtough I am currently under contact in Illinois for a large corporation. I would be a great way for me to drop and duck out of society for awhile, hiding in Southern California. Are you in county are you in? I guess Orange county.

I do not think you will get many white folks to work for you unless they are students that could work part time. Why don't you try the other races also? Aren't you being racist (against the law)? I think I may report you to Yahoo for this.

Crap! Minimum wage is killer for picking berries. I picked when I was a kid and only got 10 cents per pound. I'd send my kids now that I'm grown and have a better job but they won't let them at the berry farms around here. They only employ migrant workers, U.S. citizens need not apply.
P.S. Haven't the berries been picked already? They should have been ready back in June.

Sure, what's minimum wage now? When I retire if you put me up in your house and provide 3 square meals a day...I'd happily accept your job as strawberry picker...sounds better than greeter at WalMart.

Why are you picking on the white folks, 86% of the people in America want illegal immigration stoped, and America is not 86% white, so who do you think those other people are ghosts, other races dumbass. why don't you try the Mexican Americans, or the Japanese, they apparently don't want illegal immigrants either.

This just goes to prove that native born Americans turn their noses at manual labor jobs that illegals are willing to do. But those same native borns won't hesitate to take advantage of that labor.
