Yeah sure why not! There's not restriction to paying with change, if there is I would like to see. Money is money. It's just an inconvenience that's all. We've done it! It's not tacky! When you're running low on cash and have nothing in fridge you have to do what you have to!!! My kids didn't think it was tacky, they actually had fun finding change all over the house to give it to the guy. we did put each dollar in a zip loc bag so that he didn't have to wait there all day counting. he just had to count the bags!! Enjoy your pizza!!

I some how doubt it is the comprehensive tale....you're basically telling us the area that makes you out to be the sufferer. Are you truly basically "friends" with all of them? Do you've low self-worth and want validation from adult men? Did you've nowhere else to stay? it truly is not any longer popular for a youthful female to favor to bypass in with a set of dudes...i do not care how lengthy you've time-honored them....What you suggested isn't astounding....You knew this can ensue yet you prevented the very reality, for although reason and now you're in hassle...

Money is money and the pizza guy does not have the right to refuse to be paid in dimes. Since you promise to tip him / her well I think he/she will understand.

Speaking as the manager of a pizza place, it is acceptable to pay in change, SO LONG AS YOU ROLL IT.
Trying to pay in loose change is a really crappy thing to do to any delivery person - they have to carry it with them, as they're usually not just going to your house and then back to the store...there's most likely another delivery or two after you. In addition, change is very easy to lose count over, and no driver wants to wind up paying for the food you ate.
In our store, we expressly prohibit our drivers from accepting large amounts of change, and advise them to refuse to accept it if offered to them. It's just too much of a hassle to deal with.
Yes, change is currency, but we (as businesses) reserve the right to accept it in manageable forms - such as in rolls.

It is legal tender. He can not refuse. Against the LAW if you are paying for an item he is supposed to sell to you. And you don't have to tip him by law either. Call the pizzeria, and complain that he would not take "legal tender" then boycot the pizzeria and tell all your friends that they do not have fair business practices if you do not get satisfaction, report them to the better business bearau. This will not immediately affect them, but if they look for federal subsidies to help their business, they will not get them with marks on their record.
