Brethalyzer tests react to alcohol, unless you are taking some kind of liquid suspention of lexapro (like the pharmasist makes you a special version because you do not tollerate pills)

Your Lexapro would not contain alcohol.
This doesn't mean you are automatically ok to drive.

There are many medications or conditions that impare your ability to opperate a motor vehicle and an officer can determine that it is unsafe for you to drive on the basis of your condition.

For example an epileptic who has hidden his condition in order to get a license. Or a diabetic who is in critical distress. Neither of those people should be driving, but neither of those people would "fail" a breathalyzer.

Often medications have a warning on the bottle that you should not "opperate heavy machinery or drive" until you know how this medication effects you. For somepeople it is just plan safer to have a friend drive, or take a cab.

Good luck.

No, but it can affect your attitude. I bet you're a bit more chirpy and how shall I say...to the point...than usual. So that might be a problem if you're pulled over. Gosh, so might drinking while taking Lexapro.
