For example, you just finished your coffee, juice, milk or tea and you wanted to drink water right away. Do you want a new glass of water or is it alright that you just pour over water from the pitcher to your used cup/mug/glass.
I don't mind it since I just drank from it, but some people say it's gross. What do you say about it?

I would rinse it out and reuse it, unless it had coffee or milk in it first...that would be gross

I have a coffee mug that I also use as my water cup. I will also use a juice or soda glass for water without rinsing it out, but I never use a glass for milk then for water.

Why waste room and water in the dishwasher? I do a very light water rinse when using the glass for tea or milk, but for anything else I pour the water right in.

Just rinse out the cup and pour another glass. It's not gross. You're germs are on the cup anyways.

Personally I rinse any glass or cup if I'm going to put a different liquid in it. If you don't touch the pitcher to the rim of the mug/cup/glass, I don't see a problem with it. Plus it saves washing another one.

I would want a new cup, but not cause I don't want to drink out of my own cup. Just cause I don't want water that taste like whatever I was drinking before.

It's gross. New kind of drink = new cup/glass.
