The pilot will light but when the blower engages it blows the pilot out. What should I look at and how can this be corrected?

my best guess is you may have a cracked heat exchanger. You may be able to take a flashlight and look into it and see if you can see a crack, but it could be in a spot where you cant. If it is cracked, about all you can do is replace the furnace. I had one that was cracked and it would have cost about $900. to replace the heat exchanger. The furnace was 16 yrs. old so I just got a new one.
