I am an unfortunate soul who has inherited coarse, dry, frizzy, too-thick, and untamable hair.

A month ago, I decided to get my hair layered so that my head would feel light for a change,

Unfortunately, its coarseness became more obvious because since my hair is slightly naturally wavy, each individual layer sticks out...and since I have a big head I look horrid!!!

WHAT AM I TO DO!!?!?!??! I HATE MY SCRATCHY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have ANY advice????

ok # 1 get a good brand shampoo and conditioner made to make your hair silkier / smoother, I like pantene and the garnier frutis line ..then you need to purchase a really good hair flat iron with ceramic plates, dry your hair first and before using the iron spritz your hair with with a smoothing lotion like fruitis sleek and shine or chi silk smoothing lotion, or citri shine brand, or any good leave in hair smoothing lotion or shine lotion , then use the flat iron, you will be amazed how smooth and silky your hair will look!

First pass to the salon and get the ends decrease off, because of the fact they are probable chop up, I propose a minimum of a million/2 an inch, on the main $20 counting on the place you reside (cuts and trims many times do no longer fee an identical). Then get a deep conditioning scientific care achieved, it will make your hair great healthful and silky, many times approximately $12 to $14. i will by no skill rigidity adequate the importance of an at living house deep conditioning gadget, i exploit Organics Hair Mayonnaise, (purely get a salon scientific care as quickly as a month), Wal-Mart $3 to $4. Then, i opt to propose TRESemme mushy & Silky Shampoo and Conditioner, Wal-Mart $3.00. final, by no skill use heating products on your hair primary, it does no longer something yet harm you. desire I helped.

You can use tresemme spray moisterizer, or (organic hair mayonnaise - use a shower cap to steam your hair when you are washing it). I guarantee it will help you. If you are african american you can use perfective or pantene for coloured as well. Please ask your hair stylist to try any of these and watch the result. I have coarse hair and i used the organic hair mayonnaise and it was sucessful. Let me know the result.

Get a wild cut and use some gel or mouse to tame the locks that don't quite go with the rest of the "pack". Moisturize with egg yolk NO white.

Try frizz-ease shampoos and conditioners and anti-frizz moisturizers for hair after showering. After you shower with frizz-ease apply the moisturizer and blow-dry. If that doesn't help, go to a professional salon every week for a hair job.

Don't perm your hair, cut the dry bits off.
Every 3-4 days a very good hairmask.
After every good shampoo a good conditioner.
Also avoid hair dryers.

this definitely would depend on your ethnicity and ur future outlooks for how u want ur hair to be, im black, never had a relaxer, but i do get my hair washed, blow-dryed and flat ironed with ceramic flat irons every two weeks, if u want super silky hair and ur black, get a relaxer, professionally done, but this probably wouldnt work if ur white b/c this would only make ur hair curly!!
