If a 20% gratuity charge is already included in the total bill, are we still expected to give an extra cash tip to the driver at the end of the night? Or is the included 20% gratuity the only tip that a driver would expect? Thanks!

Tipping is not anywhere like it is in the USA. Iwould onlytip a bellhop if they carried my bags up to my room when checking in -- then 1 GBP per bag Limousine driver --not sure what you mean by this. Taxi drivers get 10% of fare. Restaurants 10-15% unless servicecharge is included (which means you've paid the tip). Please don't start spraying 20% US style tips around because you make it difficult for us locals, And remember the bill (check) already includes 17.5% VAT (sales tax) so any tip is on tax

Theoretically.... the 20% is supposed to take care of it all but the blood hungry limo drivers still expect more.... I would never give more and would have it understood up front what the 20% is for and that the driver understands that also

Every little bit of extra $ for the drivers is a great gesture! I'm sure if you gave them an extra $5, they would really appreciate it! I don't think they make much $ just driving people around!

We gave our Limo Driver a hundred dollars at the end of the evening, he was so patient and attentive.

The way I looked at it, I afforded the Limo, pay the guy for the service that is intended.
