I think they're delusional, but not insecure. People in general acquire strong irrational beliefs very easily, especially as children. It's likely that many christians are more secure about christianity than they are about anything else.

I think a good many don't even know what they believe. They have been taught bits and pieces, and are in love with the idea of being a Christian or are too afraid not to believe. There are also a good many that are intelligent, know what they believe and their faith is solid as a rock. These are TRUE believers.

Possibly all religions are part of a delusion. But since no one can be completely without self-delusion, belief shouldn't be held against others. I would say that in most cases, religion is harmless and offers many benefits to its adherents. Of course, there are always your average crack-brained exceptions who become obsessive. Try to avoid them when possible.

I think many don't even look deep into the religion (i.e. history, authenticity, etc) and are very easily led to believe in something they don't even take time to learn about. I've found that I know more about the bible than even some of my most God-fearing Christian friends.

why do you care so much about something you obviously dont believe? Could it be that you actually do care? Or maybe you just want attention. From reading all your other questions/answers seems like you have something against christians. Maybe even an obsession? I mean you spend all this time talking about the christian faith online yet you talk smack about it. I just dont understand ppl like you. You obviously dont believe in what christians believe yet your so obsessed with talking about them. I think deep down you do believe, otherwise you wouldnt care so much. .

I don't think so, I am a Christian, and I have strong belief, there would be nothing that would convince me of a different thing, my faith is so deep and strong that I coul dlive off of it...

Not most, but at least some are, and that's why some people attack anything anti-christan, to keep those insecure people from losing their faith

Yes. The evidence is shown in the anger which rises up when someone questions their faith. Calm discourse is a welcome but rare commodity among us.
