A Mexican cannot apply in the DV LOttery, so the only option your boyfriend has i to marry you(if you are legal). Good luck.

Without knowing the specifics... IE background of your BF. There is no way that question can be answered here IMHO.

The right way would be to go through the Mexican Consulate.

Green cards for Mexicans are hard to come by in some cases. Because the restrictions are so severe and unfair. (my opinion)

If you want to marry him....he can go back to Mexico and you can bring him as a fiance and marry him here, or you can marry him now (or in Mexico) and petition him as a spouse (he will still have to return to Mexico for at least 5 mos) . Please only marry him if you truly love him and want to spend the rest of your life with him. Otherwise if he goes to Mexico and enrolls in school he can try to come with a student visa..but he cannot legally work here. The child cannot help his father to get his papers until the child is 18 years of age. Unfortunately if he is not rich there are no other options. This is probably why he came illegally in the first place.

Marrying him is the fastest way to go. If you're BF is a highly skilled worker (at least a College degree holder and his occupation is highly demanded by companies) a company could sponsor him an H1-B..

He would have to go back to Mexico first and you could bring him here with a fiancee visa, this would take 3 months.
