I would like to know which of these hotels is better and why?:
DUNES INN SUNSET or RAMADA PLAZA WEST HOLYWOOD or HOLIDAY INN HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

Everyone is spot on. Of the three, Ramada Plaza is the better choice, mainly because of it's location.
West Hollywood is the only part of Hollywood that is still hip and fashionable. Better restaurants and shopping than the rest of the area.
The rest of Tinseltown can be pretty depressing, what with all the drug addicts and hookers.

Ramada Plaza W Hwood is in the nicest area. Holiday Inn is going to be nearer to all the touristy crap you're probably wanting to see. If you're not renting a car, this would be your best bet.

Im going to say the one in West Hollywood
If the other two are on sunset or hollywood blvds there will be too many weirdos around.
West Hollywood is the gay capital of LA, but it is nicely done, and there should be good places to have breakfast around there

The Standard in WeHo is great. It's a fun, hip hotel, with a great pool and bar scene, and a 24 hour restaurant/rrom service. Just be sure to request a room in the back-a quiet room. This hotel is so cool, there's a dj in the lobby! Have fun, I was just there a week ago and I plan on moving there. Take me with you! Lol.

WHY are you going to L.A. that place is a load of crap. Go somewhere nice, like Hawaii.
