You can not teach that which you do not know. If you know The Holy Spirit then let him lead.

11 to 15, thats weird. Teach or whatever and then have like a discussion and listen to their views and let them..debate I guess. I went to sunday school and hated it because we never got to express our views. That 11 to 15 thing is bad. They do not need to be in the same class, but maybe it will work out. Candy is always a plus.

Very carefully...no one has EVER explained that one to me with any kind of satisfaction....the minute I start hearing about the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost, it seems as if you are splintering an entity and making three of it. Yes, I know...one of the great mysteries of life..etc. But the minute you try to pin this one down, the whole concept begins to fall apart and look ridiculous. Good luck with this one.

The church let you become an Sunday School Teacher and didn't give you a study guide? I find that hard to believe.

Just tell them to pretend that they are standing infront of a mirror, and as they look at their own image reflection ask them if they love their reflection... to which they will reply yes.
Now tell them to imagine that it was God the Father looking into the mirror, and he loved His image and because he is God that image comes to life and existance and the love between Him and the Image also comes to life because nothing is impossible to God ... so the Father is there, the Son is there(The image come to life) and the Holy Spirit is there as well( the Love come to life).
This is a good way to also explain the Holy Trinity:)

First, they have to understand the Trinity, which is not that simple to begin with.
The easiest way I found is this (worked with my 6-year-old):
"Jesus was a man, right?
Yes.
Can another man live inside your body?
No.
That's why He sent us His Spirit, so He could be with us all the time & we wouldn't have to share our sandwhiches with Him."
Like I said - worked for the little one. Even got a giggle out of her...

or you could just ask them to tell you, and they will say "I dont know", because out of the mouth of babes you know what i mean
