If animals had the ability to communicate in language with not only humans, but with other animals, would we still still kill each other for food?

Delphic: I agree they do communicate, but I specifically said "language", i.e. oral communication.

no,we would prolly talk back to them! I know I would, and ask my cat why he gets on the back of the toilet and sits there while I go,and why he lays near /on the computer desk,in front of the monitor, while i am on it. he doesnt do this for anyone else in the family, just me. Oh,and he sleeps near my bed,and he is my daughters cat too!

Ever since I found out scientists were wasting their time and resources.... I mean doing informative studies..... that show that cows have regional accents I haven't eaten beef.

But just think, humans are prey to more than one predatory species, and we can communicate with them to a degree as is.

Especially cats, This is going to sound wrong but I swear my cat is more human than me sometimes. And she enjoys chewing on me when she's hungry.

Yes, except horses, dogs, or cats. Those animals are considered to be more special then the rest because congress told us so.
