My friend says she loves me unconditionally but i feel she is making this up. I keep asking myself: would she still like me if i was doing so badly? Can you please help?

Yes, there is a thing called unconditional love...because u really don't think about y u love the person, u just do. Like ur kids, u might not like what they do, but most parents love their kids no matter what. There's always a condition...it's just not thought about. Like, if it was someone else's kid, ur parent might not love them unconditionally...they just might piss 'em off just enough for the love to go away. But in ur case, it might be different, the fuse will be longer...and even if parents are estranged from kids, the love is still there, because when something serious happens, they're there.

I don't think ur girl loves u unconditionally. It's just that her love for hasn't been tested to the point where love could cease...and so she hasn't had to question her love for u, and either over-come the problem and let her love for u prevail, or let that love fade because she doesn't like the circumstance of ur situation.

Feelings are ALWAYS conditional...there's always a reward...no matter how big, small,or insignificant.

There is such a thing and it is rare. Unconditional means that they will love you no matter what you do, say, or become. They would love you still even if you hurt them, they would love you still if you became the meanest person in the world.

Even some parents don't have unconditional love. Just ask the thousands of gay people whose parents have disowned them just for being gay. Or the interracial couple whose parents disowned them for datiing "outside their race".

there is such thing as unconditional love but this may not be it. think of your lowest point was she there for you? if so ask yourself this, would you be there for her? then believe that she loves you unconditionally and treat her like you will love her unconditionally.

Yes unconditional love does exist. God loves us unconditionally. People can love unconditionally but it is rare. Parents with their children...no matter what they do you love them. You may get really angry and not approve but you still love them. Unconditionally.

In my 45 years of life, the only unconditional love I've experienced is between parents and children and the love of a pet. Maybe others have had other experiences, but this is it for me.

YES because almost 99.9% of parents love their children unconditionally. The love between people of the opposite sex is classified as a different type of love. If she loves you why do you fret? It isn't good to know that someone loves you?

Unconditional love comes with growing together, as partners. It doesn't happen overnight.
