I own a boxer, too - and when she was about 5 years old, she started to bald towards the back of her rib cage, on her elbows and underneath her stomach; the hair grew back, but then she started going through seizures a year later! What fun! We went to vet and got a T4 thyroid test done on her, and, it turned out that she had a depleted thyroid, which will cause the loss of fur. You should definatley get this checked on - it will cost a decent amount of money for the test, but nothing over $100, so don't worry about that. I hope I didn't scare you! I wish you luck with your dog!

It is a common thing for boxers to get tummors and spots as they age
most times they are just fatty tumors where fat gets stored in one place they also can be removed
call your vet they will tell you more info on this condition

It depends on how old the dog is. If you've had him for a long time then he's probaly just old and there's nothing you can do. If he is still young than he probably has a medical condition and you should take him to the vet.

i have a border collie mix who started getting bald on his butt, tummy, and elbows. turns out he has an allergy to our grass that makes him lose his hair wherever he touches it. a once a year allergy shot keeps his fur looking full and healthy.
