Anybody that has traveled to Europe including England (one of Americas closest allies next to Israel) knows this is a true fact. Thank God for the fact that I spoke Spanish, I would be treated differently and with more respect that when I spoke English. I thought that it was a Gov. problem but when I started participating here on Yahoo answers, I couldnt gotten a better taste of American Racism and Arrogance that they are above the whole world. These racist people think that they could fix any countries problem and are very good at whining even about their own Gov.
Now people like Sean Hannity, Grumpy Old Man (Pat Buchannan) Lou Dobbs, and those other Arrogant , Racist Americans are targeting their next door neighbor that slowly are turning the people against America. I would be careful nowdays if I were those people i just mentioned about turning an Allie of Athe U.S. against them when Venezuela is becoming a growing power in South America.

The ultimate fact is that no one is perfect but poor americans think they are perfect. Just look how good is its own governance and its other problems ... it doesn't try to solve them but pushes it's nose into other countries' issues. And do these americans think that they really solve those problems ??? Cant you see that they are creating more issues than they really exist.
This "Arrogance" is making them come down faster than its growth! Simple theory of gravity --- anything that goes up on earth will come down. You will see america in acute problems and most of the countries going against it very soon. Its power will be lost in next decade or a little more. And who can save UK is another question then. Power shift is imminent but who takes the next position is a question and how better can it be is a bigger question.
But before anything ... just understand folks ... look at history of any region on the face of this globe ... world has always been like this and it will be like this ... issue after issue. LIFE and DEATH !!!

Spanish television and American media also flaunt the “white” Mexican as representative of the great country of Mexico.... Never mind those Leftist brown shirts out there in California and the Atzlan fantasy that Mexicans own the American southwest.
“There are basically five families that rule Mexico,” . “They build a wall around themselves, become richer and richer, and they don’t give a ____ about anyone else. They just don’t care. They don’t care about poor people.”
And it seems the Mexican immigrants don’t care anything about Mexico, either. And they don’t care about the United States.... What happened to Mexican pride? Where are the Mexicans who care? Crossing the river doesn’t make them a different kind of human being. I say, where is Emiliano Zapata when you need him? Where is Poncho Villa? Where are the leaders of the people, who will defend them against the careless, endless abuses of the generales in ciudad Mexico?
A confusing picture, indeed. So what shall Americans make of it?
Now Alberto to you America is just a little town Alberto always trying to put it down.I don't expect you to understand Alberto, after you've caused so many put downs but then again, you're not to blame you're just a human, a victim of the insane

As an American, I have been treated with respect wherever I have travelled ( in most cases ). With that said, I also treat these people with the utmost respect in return.
I think you are confusing "lazy" with arrogance. Someone too lazy to learn the customs of the country they are in can be perceived as arrogant. I make every effort to respect the customs of the country I am in. In some parts of the world, your very life depends on this.
Racism is a fact of life. You, nor anyone else can escape this. If you think you can, then please send me some of the same stuff you are smoking. Learning to live with this, and being able to carry on with your life in spite of "racial" issues, is something they do not teach in American schools.
If your entire life is ruled by "issues". IMHO it isn't much of a life.

Whatever it is that had fuddled your brain, I must say that racism is never a factor why Americans are not popular in Europe. It is attributed to Bush policies of unilaterally protecting US interests. Europeans disapproved of his decision to abandon Kyoto protocol to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and his plans to abandon ABM pact to develop missile defense program. But he received broad acceptance with his free trade policy-NAFTA for you and maintaining US troops in Kosovo and Bosnia. Even Vladimir Putin does not inspire decidedly world confidence as in any other leadership.
English is the language of the international trade in Europe. Thereby your statement is without substantiation that to speak English in Europe will have its consequence. Disrespect from Europeans as you implied. Or you will receive better treatment if you speak Spanish. Outright lie. You might incur opposition from Germans and French but even the latter has decided recently to publish all its future scientific papers in English. Even the Chinese is striving hard to learn English to keep up with the world trade communication.
It is not turning an ally against you and account racism in resolving our internal problems of illegal aliens. They must implement NAFTA that migrants should be dispersed equally in both US and Canada. Not just the border states that has to bear the brunt of illegal migration. Free flow of migration but with work permits. If Venezuela is becoming a growing power then the more we should address national security and know who is in the country legally.

This is one of them there trick questions. I don't know if I'm smart enough to answer it, what with my crumby American public school edumacation. I cain't even foller your logic past the second sentence. It sounds like yer saying yer arrogant and racist. Yeap. Thank Gawd I was taught PQ2R in first grade. I might not've been able to read between the lines.
Some people don't think that way; some people wish things were different. I happen to be one of those. Oh, and English isn't the only language I understand either. No one had to force me to learn languages at school either. It's fun. But making fun of people from other countries or your own isn't. See?

People these days judge races and countries due to what a minority of those people do. Yeah Bush doesn't know the difference between a foot and a hand at some points and he does make unfair/illogical decisions all the time, but it does not mean that all Americans are like that. I think its due to IGNORANCE.

Call it what you like here are the facts ,ones you cant deny or hide from
The High Cost of Cheap Labor
Illegal Immigration and the Federal Budget
This study is one of the first to estimate the total impact of illegal immigration on the federal budget. Most previous studies have focused on the state and local level and have examined only costs or tax payments, but not both. Based on Census Bureau data, this study finds that, when all taxes paid (direct and indirect) and all costs are considered, illegal households created a net fiscal deficit at the federal level of more than $10 billion in 2002. We also estimate that, if there was an amnesty for illegal aliens, the net fiscal deficit would grow to nearly $29 billion
Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.
Among the largest costs are Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).
With nearly two-thirds of illegal aliens lacking a high school degree, the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit is their low education levels and resulting low incomes and tax payments, not their legal status or heavy use of most social services.
On average, the costs that illegal households impose on federal coffers are less than half that of other households, but their tax payments are only one-fourth that of other households.
Many of the costs associated with illegals are due to their American-born children, who are awarded U.S. citizenship at birth. Thus, greater efforts at barring illegals from federal programs will not reduce costs because their citizen children can continue to access them.
If illegal aliens were given amnesty and began to pay taxes and use services like households headed by legal immigrants with the same education levels, the estimated annual net fiscal deficit would increase from $2,700 per household to nearly $7,700, for a total net cost of $29 billion.
Costs increase dramatically because unskilled immigrants with legal status -- what most illegal aliens would become -- can access government programs, but still tend to make very modest tax payments.
Although legalization would increase average tax payments by 77 percent, average costs would rise by 118 percent.

I think YOU hate america/americans, and there's not much to be done for that except introduce you to some better people of higher character. Frankly, if it wasn't for the United States, then
europe would speak german today.
Mexico wants to try and gain a bunch of support around the world to insert as much of its' population into the United States as is humanly possible. We can best counter that by going ahead and building a suitable border barrier that will prevent their illegal entry into our country. Don't fall for the bullshit...
