Now she has gained weight and her nipples are sagging. When we checked her nipples they are producing milk. Serious answers only. torbaynewfs, keep your snide remarks to yourself, I do not need your advice or bullshit attitude about having mutt puppies. Do not reply to my question.

It sounds to me like she is but there is chance that it ould be a psudeoprgnacy. Some dogs have them after they go into heat. But it's more likly that she is pregant. if i were you i would call your vet and ask for an appointment to get an utrasound to make sure that she is pregnat. but if she possibly was breed on or around june 9 she would be due around august 28th because the fertilized usally take about 18 days to attach to the uterus. but even if she was bred on june 9th than she would about 11 days overdue but than agian i don't know how long she had acess to a male dog but it alsop takes about two weeks for a female dog to receptive to a male dog so actually she is about where she should be. But since she is starting to produce milk she will most likely be having her pup sin about a week or so maybe sonner maybe later it really just depends on her. Some dogs have their pups right after they start produing milk. but either so should probally get ready for puppies which means having some palce safe and warm for her to have the puppies you can buy one of those little baby wadding poo;s and put lots and lots of towels in for her.and yuou need to get used to the idea of sleeping in the pool if that whats you use.

Usally about a day or so before she has the pups she will start looking for a place hide and start digging in blankets or maybe even digging a whole outside where can have her pups so you need to get the pool ready for her ( i'm just going to say pool so we both know what i ]'m talking about) anyway your going to need to put the pool somewhere quiet when she goes off her food which mine do most of the time than you'll probaly need to take some time off so that you can be with her when she has the pups and may want to have a vet on speed dial in case something goes wrong. once she starts to have her pups she should have on about every twenty mintues to an hour if she take much longer to have the pups than you may want to call your vet.
When she has the pups you'll need to have sterile blunt ended sccisors , heavy sertile silk sutuers, bag blam or other kind of lubricating jelly, several pairs or sertile medical golves, one of those rubber baby globe syringe to suction out the goo from the puppies mouth, suricale scrub froe your hands. May want to talk to your vet and ask them to give more info. you can also e-mail me if you need more help or info. i'm more than happy to what ever i can to help out i know how scarry it is to have your frist litter of puppies. Anyway sorry that is so long I wanted to make sure that you had enough info to get ya started. good luck and have fun.

If you left you dog on the 9th of June and was gone even 7 days she would have had the pups by now. 63 to 65 days is how long a pregnant dog carries the pups. If you did not see her mate after returning home count up from the day you picked her up and see if it is past the 65 days. I had a female that every time she would have went into heat (she was fixed) she showed all the signs of being with pups, tender nipples and weight gain. She was even grouchy

yes she sounds pregnant. also producing milk is usualy a singe that she will go in to labour soon.
im not haveing a go but you better inform your vet as dogs shouldnt bred on the first heat so you may get problems buring the birth.

goog luck. and get a better dog sitter if they let her mate while u were gone.

Im not sure if she is or not you might try feeling of her stomach sometimes you can feel the puppies. The only way to be sure is to have her checked out by a vet. I wish you luck take care.

Take her to the vet! If she is pregnant, being so young and her first time, there could be complications. It is good to get her a clean bill of health. And unless you are going to breed her on purpose, think about fixing her.

You may not want bullsh*t advice but you need to take your dog to the vet and figure out if she is pregnant.

TRY GETTING YOUR DOG AND FUTURE DOGS FIXED.

Why is this so f*cking hard for people to understand??
