I really like this guy...the only thing is, he's miles and miles away from where i live. (we're talking another country.) i see him every other year, when we go visit (he's a family friend) and it's amazing..every time i'm with him i feel complete. we usually spend 3 months there (the entire summer) and in those 3 months we become really close. but eventually we have to come back...and then we become far apart again. i hardly ever hear his voice on the phone...but then when we go back again it's like we pick up where we left off. i'm not sure i like this kind of relationship though...and i have tried forgetting about him a couple of times when i returned home but when i'm with another guy it just never feels the same. what do you think i should do? should i make this work?

No but with some qualifiers. Long distance love affairs are exciting but they are just not something that gives you that feeling the other nine months.
If those three months are wonderful and you can see them stretching into years, consider finding a way to make the stay longer. Can you or he move? If not, consider dating more and keeping your heart open. Sure you love the guy and that should never change. Just make sure you do not sacrifice your 9 months for the three you have.

i'm in a long distance relationship and i'm not going to lie because it is hard at times.. my boyfriend lives two hours away and i get to see him every couple of weeks and it's great because he completes me and i don't know what i would do without him.. but i could only imagine getgting to see him every other year and how hard it would be but through love anything is possible so if ya'll both feel it's right go for it.. it's worth the shot..

i imagine they surely very last once you've an bring about sight ie. you know once you'll finally be at the same time for actual. i might want to in no way do it except i replaced into in a perfect relationship with someone and then they moved away, or perhaps then, on condition that I knew lets be at the same time back fairly quickly.

Sounds like a great guy. Is there anyway you could make it work? That would be extremely difficult. But it really sounds worth the try.
