See i just left for a college about 3 weeks ago. And i went to hang out with my roommate's friends. I then met this girl and the connection has been amazing but the only thing is, she just broke up with the bf the day i met her. So we hang out and all that and it's been great but one day i call her and asked her a few questions about some things. And she told me that i am moving to fast, but the only reason that i am doing what i am doing is because of the connection and also somethings that i have said as well as things she has said. So she told me that all she needs is time. But the thing is that she told me that one day we will go out but then one day she tells me differently. So how long should i wait

Maybe you should slow down a bit. It hasn't been very long and if you don't respect the wishes of the other then the relationship won't get 2 far anyways.

There is no limit to time. Usually though, when a girl says she needs time, it means that she isn't interested in you. Not always, the case, but usually it is. Giving her space is hard, I know. Beleive me! Moving too fast. All guys do that, don't we? We just can't get a grasp on that concept of slow and steady. But ask yourself, wince you are a hunter by nature, how would you approach a deer. Slow and Steady. Sit and wait. Right? Its sort of the same with women, except women like to be approached. But timing is very important. We never know the right timing though, and its different timing for each woman, just like for each deer. Personally, though, I am at the other end of the deal, yet I have learned from my past, or should I say I am learning from it.

This is very very common when going away to school. If you are really interested in this girl, don't contact her til next semester. If its a real thing, the feelings will still be there and she'll be ready to hop.

You can't give the impression that you are waiting. That's the worst thing you can do. Stay away and perhaps she'll come around. Or c*um multiple times, who knows?

Don't give up on her too quickly. It can be pretty intense when you meet someone and feel a connection right away. She might just feel a little overwhelmed by it. Try to be patient and know that her guard is probably up for reasons that have nothing to do with you personally - it's just fear. Once she knows she can trust you and count on you, she'll let you in.

Be her friend. Have fun with the friendship first, and then the relationship will naturally follow. Being together as friends forms a bond strong enough to carry a deeper relationship. Maybe you should put the dating ball in her court. Good Luck!!

she sounds like she is just playin' you. You can do better, but if the connection is as strong as you say it is, wait for her, but don't wait too long!

She is still hurting. Give her time. Don't be in such a hurry. You're both young!

Tell her you're interested in seeing her (romantically) but don't pursue her until she calls you back.
