it was bleeding?...well i jammed my finger a few weeks ago throwing the foot ball with my son & it didnt bleed but hurt like hell & still does if i hit it on something or move it the wrong way...it swelled up really big & bruised but after about 3 or 4 days the swelling went down...so i'd say wait about 3 days & if you see no sign of it getting any better then go to the doctor...and even if it is broke there is nothing really they can do but put a little thing on it to keep u from moving it untill it's healed....

Yes. Let a doctor look at it. I jammed one of my fingers throwing a softball back and forth with my cousin, and it almost broke it. It was sprained really bad. I kept hitting it on stuff every time I turned around and the doctor said another good hit or two would have broken it.

Yes, definitely go to the doctor. It may feel like you just jammed it, but it definitely could be broken. It's always better to play it on the safe side and get it checked out. :)

If you can bend it it's not broken. They sell little splints for that. Put some ice on it. 1/2 hour on 1/2 off for 24 hours. It's a pain but that does help. Take some kind of pain reliever for the pain & swelling.

It sounds like it would be a very good idea to have it X-rayed. They probably can't tell much until the swelling goes down, so you should keep it wrapped in a cold pack until you can get to the emergency room, or the nearest Doc-In-A Box.

if it hurts when you move it and if it is swollen and it don't get any better then yeah it could be but the thumb is sensative so i suggest going to you doctor to see if it is broken or if you just stubbed it!

you want to bypass to the clinical specialist or ER and get it xrayed and set even if that's broken which it appears like it probably is. you may attempt to tug it out and placed ice on it till you get to the clinical specialist or emergency room. you may placed a splint on it and take a discomfort reliever, yet then you definately will want to have a pal or someone from college take you to the clinical specialist or emergency room.

Of course it's broken! Don't just sit there go to the emergency now and get it fixed. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh, dude. I feel your pain as I have been there WAY too many times myself. If it is broken, that is good news. It will heal faster than if it is sprained. Best of luck to you, my man.
