Call the vet now, and tell them that you need to bring your dog down, as he has eaten ant poison. Take the poison with you, so the vet can see exactly what he has had, and what he needs to cure it. If the receptionist gives you any jip, just say that you are on your way, put the phone down and take the dog down anyway. They cannot refuse to treat an animal, unless you are on their blacklist for not paying bills. Also, poisoning is a serious matter and needs to be sorted urgently.

take him to the nearest ER pet hospital! It doesn't matter what kind of poison your dog ate. He needs medical attention!

quickly roll the dog over to its back and check for breathing. If he's not breathing open his airway by tilting his head back gently as you would of that of a child. then place your ear close to its mouth to hear if hes breathing at the same time look at the chest to see if he's breathing if not with using the first to fingers of your right hand follow slide them gently down his stomach to where his privates are and you'll see what appears to look like a valve take a hold and quickly give 4 gentle puffs on it until his little red chili pepper pops out and there you have it.

feed him about 3 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide it will make him throw up
