i know a guy who has a 7 year old daughter & the girl is being raised by his mother with his mother telling the child that she is her mother & he is her brother. In the 4 years i've known this family as neighbors this little girl has been emotionally abused to the point where she is just a mess. All day long she is called bitches, whores & fat slut by the mother and she screams so loud you can hear her down the hall! I don't know all that goes on in that house but I babysat her a few times when she was 5 and all she could talk about was SEX! a FIVE YEAR OLD!I went to the "mother" and told her about it but all she could do was blame it on the father, her son. I confronted him about it in the hall and he put all the blame on his mother saying that he doesn't even have contact with the child and that the mother took her on against his wishes so it's "her" problem. Everyone in the building talks about how awful it is & the girl shows so many signs of abuse how can he sit back & do nothing?

i've called dcfs 7 times in three years and guess what? they don't care about emotional abuse they only care when it's physical. So family services doesn't care until this person grows up with a warped mind and starts lashing out on society - then the police will care

the police have even been called to the building numerous times but they never leave with the little girl

Thats a very sad story. That poor little girl has obviously been sexually abused or will be. You need to call the authoriies, police and social services. Your indirectly contributing to that childs suffering if you dont.

A more appropriate question would be... how can all of you sit back and do nothing? If you're that sure there is abuse going on in that household, you need to contact the authorities. More than likely, this man also grew up abused and has no will power or self esteem to stand up to his mother. Do everyone a favor and stand up for this little girl.

It is obvious that someone needs to step in - get involved - and get this poor child some help. It is very apparent that she is NOT getting any parenting at all and nobody wants to take any responsibility here.
Get in contact with a social services agency in your area - or call and abused women's hotline and get a referral to a child advocacy agency.
You cannot, in your own good conscience, sit back and do nothing to help this helpless little person. She deserves better than to be raised by trash.

It's obvious he doesn't care. Take action your self. Call your local child protective services. This little girl just might be better off in someone elses hands other then her own families. I'd hate to take a child away from her family but she needs to get away and know what it's really like for her to have a real family.

what are you and the people in your building waiting for? This abuse has to be stopped. why are you waiting for the father to act?
This child is already affected by it and it it continues will certainly be damaged for life.
They may not like your interfering but so what, think of the child first. don't wait make the phone call now before it is too darn late

Well i think its time for you or the people in the building to step in!!!! dont you???? Why let a little girl like that be treated that way??? you need to call DSS or something on her,,so they can go in and check her out. She wont know who called if there are alot of people in your building. Dont you want to save a little girls life??? You know whats right.
