Try: http://www.zabasearch.com/.
I did and typed in his name. There are 81 people named Patrick James Ellis.
Take it from there.
Good luck!

You may be too young to understand everything that happened to cause your mother to leave the relationship with your father at the time it happened, and your mother CAN be protecting you by remaining silent (and this is also court ordered -- which is CRUEL in the extreme, and I know, as a single parent with this kind of court order -- I could NOT even inform MY OWN Children why I Divorced and Prosecuted their father).

Please, I know it is difficult -- but be patient -- and be aware of the feelings of your mother in all of this. I would worry more about your mother's safety and your own, rather than find someone who has not been in your life for many, many years.

Yahoo Answers is a very bad place for searching people. Since there are about 1 million users and there are about 2 billion people in the world who has access to internet. Even if your friend has access their chances of comming to Yahoo Answers is 2 in a thousand. And even if they do come, chances of finding your question is even more slim. So don't count on it.
