Really? I am very happy that you have lightened God's load and are now serving as judge and jury ... he will be so happy, for now he can go play cards. I suppose the old, "judge not lest ye be judeged" thing has been discredited in your Bible. I want a copy of what ever you are reading. You, like so many other zealots, take it upon yourself to be a pompous *** that is sinning by the mere statements you have made above. IF you truely want to see the kingdom of heaven, I strongly suggest you turn your eye toward your own soul and stop worrying about that best left to your god. Good luck, and start today. One never knows when the end will come.

As for the Muslim comment, I believe that Islam regards Jesus as a wise man, but not the son of God. I doubt they see his teachings as "crap". First of all Jesus did not say those things. Jesus said something in Arameic that someone then heard. He then either repeated it to other people, or it was copied down. It was then translated into Greek and Latin. Then a commitee of men translated that document into English for the New King James version of the Bible. So lets say "the New King James bible says" rather than "Jesus said"
Also all of your evidence is coming from one book, and the only proof that is usually given of the Bible's divine nature is found within the Bible. It is a relatively circular argument, at least at the simplistic level that you are making it.

What if the bible, and all the other holy books, are simply metaphors for our life here on earth? If you have no spiritual connection whatsoever - no feeling for anything, be it a beautiful rose in bloom or the sight of a hummingbird hovering over a flower - would that not be hell? Simply being a human animal with no appreciation or feeling for your fellow human beings or the world around you?

Each holy book addresses our connection to the divine as well as a way of life that is in sync with this divine energy. Living without that would be torment, in my humble opinion.

Both hell and heaven are mythological metaphors that speak to human existence.

well since I'm going to hell for not believing in Jesus, might as well have fun before I get there and do what I want without fear of an oppressing "God" being mad at me like a controling father figure. and when I get cast into whatever you believe is hell, Jesus wil do the Irish jig, and I'll be one of the Devils Generals of War. Woot to me.
serioulsy dude, this is a place of information.....not a place to convert.

The Bible is very clear about the hell and heaven stuff. Jesus uses moretime talking about hell than heaven, because He wants that everybody avoids it.

You need to remember that atheists do not believe in God. So they do not believe that the Bible is true. So it is very unpolite to them when we are telling them that they are going to hell. They are not necessarily bad people, but it is easier to them to think that we are sending them to hell or God is doing that... rather than accepting their own responsibility for this matter.

All people who do not believe in Jesus will go to hell, even so called Christians. We are not allowed to be selfrighteous. We get to heaven only by the mercy and grace of God. We need to leave the judging to our Lord. If the breaking of the old law was a bad thing + the wages of the sin was death, what do you think is going to happen to people who are spitting on the cross? We cannot change anyone's heart, God can. We need to spread seeds. And all of us could use time to time better sense of how to go by doing it. The main gospel message is the good news about that God loves us, not that if you do not believe in Jesus, you will go to the hell.

Those people who will end up in hell, are the people who did not seek the Salvation from Jesus. So forth they do not even want to be with Him. Some of them do not want to be with God, but they do not want to go to hell either. As we have a lot of choices here on earth, there is only two choices what comes to eternal life:hell and heaven. And WE get to choose! And that is so great thing about the free will, that we are not forced to be with Him if we do not want to and if we do not seek the way that leads to God. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life, no one will go to the Father's house except through Jesus.

PLEASE, do not make me to regret that I answered to this question, and YOU know what I mean! :)

Many believe so. More do not agree with your position. Personally, I have more than I can handle trying to live my life in a proper manner. May I suggest that this is true for most and if so, making judgments about others is wasting time and probably incorrect.

How do you know that hell exists? Have you ever been there? Know anyone who has? Do you believe in it because it was written in a book? For all we know, the is world is hell.

The bible is a book that scares people into converting to Christianity. Your God forgives and allows people who have committed horrible sins (murder, child molestation, and rape) entrance into heave, but dames those who are good just because they believed in him to hell? That sounds a bit egotistical.

Being a Hindu, I know I shall be reincarnated and enjoy life again, in some other form if not a human again. Then again, I am a very decent person, so I will probly transend to the next dimensional plain of existence.

An athiest has more chance of getting to Heaven than a
hypocrite. Because he really believes in his unbelief. But
a hypocrite will be afraid.
