I've been skinny all my life, and lately it's been all broccoli/steak, etc. And I do a routine of pushups and different presses of my machine, but nothing really seems to be working...I've been trying this all summer, and nothing.

Benchpress is the one best thing to use to get bigger in the chest. and you more weight less reps do whatever amout of weight you can do with about 7reps and 3 to 4 sets. also you need to eat ALOT if you want to bulk up. that means about 7 times a day. consider flex magazine a good guide.

My husband has been doing this tricept row that is getting him some good results on the upper arm, shoulder and lats:

On a weight bench lean over and put one hand and on knee on it.

So your back is paralell with the bench and one arm is dangling down free. Using a dumbell as the weight, raise your elbow up towards the ceiling, while keeping your forarm hanging down.

(-If you were standing upright it would be like pulling a bow back to shoot an arrow.)

*Use a weight heavy enough so you can only do 10-12 reps in a set. (each side) Start with two sets and work up to three.

Good luck!
