I trust anyone who I feel is trustworthy. I am a Christian and I have several atheist/agnostic friends. If you prove yourself not to be trusted then I no longer trust. It's that simple.

in the beginning.... Explaining the exhilaration and greatness of excepting Jesus has no longer something to do with trusting atheist! Pardon my tone i'm merely attempting to get a concise informative answer over to you. Secondly, think of of this! Jesus healed maximum of folk and as quickly as the Pharisses asked the disciples, Why does your instructor eat with tax creditors and sinners? And whilst Jesus overheard this he responded... people who're properly have no choose of a primary practitioner, yet people who're ill. What sturdy would it not do for each and all of the docs of the worldwide to pass around and furnish drugs to each and all of the healthy persons? So.... with that being mentioned.... every person can recieve the huge distinction and charm of God! The lord needs you to return as you're!! With all your sins and all your injury and all your shame.. so as that he can convenience you, lead you and prepare you the way!!!!!!!!!!

I trust people till they prove trusting them is not wise. Their religious beliefs or lack of them has nothing to do with trust.

Look at the PTL and Jim Baker. He is one example of a religious person who is untrustworthy.

thats a good question. I am also an agnostic but am married to an athiest. I would fully trust an athiest if i knew their character aside from their beliefs, but i feel a christian wouldn't as they have had it drummed into them not to. Im sure they would though if the only surgeon available for a life saving operation was an athiest because unless they asked,THEY WOULDN'T KNOW ANYWAY!

What are you implying with your question, just because you are atheist dosen't mean you can't help someone or be a doctor or whatever. Most people don't walk around yelling out they are atheist or christian or whatever.Your question shows that you are simple ( simpleminded). And you are not just agnostic but you are also and instigator.

It would be nice if you quoted the text or source. A better question would be, "Do you trust Athiests on YA!?" That would make it relevant to the here and now, instead of playing "tear down the straw man" games.

You can't always tell who can be trusted and who can not. It really doesn't matter the religion, or lack of. But you already know that don't you? I might not be inclined to trust anyone who quotes the bible on Yahoo Answers to irritate people though.

this is a very good question, I am an Atheist and I am a college teacher in the South of the USA. I wonder if parents trust me teaching their kids.

Given that the vast majority of people in the western world are either atheist or agnostic, you'd be leading a very limited life if you tried to avoid them.
