I live in Las Vegas, so the closer the better, but overall location does not matter.

go to petfinder.com....this is a site for rescue groups....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!....I adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!....check it out....try it....do a good deed....adopt a Havanese puppy today !!!....good luck to you, in your search for a Havanese puppy !!!!

There's always www.petfinder.com and the breed rescue sites. Be sure you're spelling the name of the breed correctly and then then type "Havanese rescue" into the search box at www.google.com and see what you find. Most specific breeds have rescue sites nowadays. It's worth a look.

Call a breeder and ask if you can take a "Rescue". Rescues are usually under $500.

Why don't you adopt an animal in need from the pound. It is selfish and low class to pay for a dog when so many need homes.
