'Christian' is a big category; it would have been helpful if you put down denomination (catholic, protestant sect, etc.) and some simple categorization of their interpretation (fundamentalist, liberal, etc.). Some examples: 1. the concept of hell is interpreted very differently by fundamentalist and other christians. 2. The Episcopalans' Bishop-elect accepts evolution and doesn't believe Jesus is the only way to god. 3. If one talks with a christian monk (e.g. such as some jesuit monks), one would might see christian concepts used as tools for a direct experience of the divine. So ... all of these are christians but differ very very widely in their interpretations and perspectives.

I was raised a Baptist but no I'm not a christian I walked away from it in my 15th year without regret. No I am not baptized as my mother tried to force me into baptism when I was 12 and I walked away in the middle of the ceremony.

Yes Baptized, in water, and in heart, and yes I believe it takes Both, If all you are going on is being dunked under water, then you never got the spirit of GOD in your heart, and that spirit is how we can love ALL people, and not just a chosen few, like those that love us, we also have to love those that hate us.

was baptized as a youngster and JESUS lives. however, I have a problem with JESUS living inside me as I do not feel HE does. THE BEING living inside of me I refer to as THE HOLY GHOST -- HOLY SPIRIT instead of JESUS. but this is my personal defination.
