I would like to replace the ones that came with the car for better ones. Better sound quality and a bit louder. I really don't know that much about cars, I have a 2002 ford focus hatchback zx3? Any suggestions? I don't want anything to expensive.

check out www.crutchfield.com you tell them what type of car you have and they tell you what will fit and you can read other customers reviews on the products.

When choosing, make sure you choose the right size (radius for fitting them) and depth. Make sure that they fit in the original speakers' place. When you expect eg. 200 Watts peak (eg. 50 Watts rms) from the speaker undistorted, choose a 250/60W instead, so keep a 'safety', because speakers are not designed to operate near the full specs. Before buying, listen to the speaker of choice in a demo assembly console (common in places where you can buy such eqiupment).
