good sides:
steady income
free health insurance
free house (for married people)
lots of travel
you get to see a lot of cool ****
its a good reference in the outside
good friends
a chance to execel
now the bad parts
sure a steady income but its not much pay. here is a pay chart
http://www.militarypay.com/MilitaryPayChartsJanuary12006.html
you do get free health insurance, but in my career field try to get out of work to go to a hospital. and the hospitals arnt the greatest in the world.
i have a big *** beautiful house, but when i wasnt married i lived in a tiny *** "dorm room". it smelled like pee and i had loud *** neighbors.
as for travel, you get to see exotic places like Quatar, Iraq, Kuwait, and Afganaistan
in my job i see a lot of cool ****, but the draw back to it is; i see it for 12 hours a day some times 6 days a week. do you see what im gettin at. theres a lot of work involved.
contract terms are for 4 or 6 years active duty. so might as well stay in.
you make a lot of good friends though, but they either go to another base and you wont see them again or, god forbid, they die.
and a chance to execel. more stripes means more responisbility and stepping more bullshit than you have ever seen in your life.
even for all these bad things i still love what i do. the main reason for me to join was so i could serve my country and i love it.

Well, I decided after watching Pearl Harbor and 9/11-that there is and will not be a another occupation prestigious and admirable as serving this beautiful country. I'll be enrolling with ROTC-in the Air Force. I have such passion to serve and can not see myself doing otherwise unless it's in my destiny to cheer from the sidelines. I know if everything goes well, I'll commission into my dream job. The only bad side would be that, it can be strenuous and long hours of work-but in the end it will be rewarding. Also, having to depart from the people you love the most-but than again, that is why we have phones, and computers-not to mention a post office. The only bad thing I see, not commission for whatever external and internal reason-but I trust in God, that whatever path my life takes-it was meant to be that way!

The Military Career is very rewarding because you make lots of friends from the USA and overseas, You go to places that you normally would not see in a lifetime. I
have absolutely NO regrets about making the US Army my career choice. I joined because of the travel, education benefits and wanted to see what the rest of the world was really like instead of reading about in travel magazines.

feels like a kick-butt dream... without understanding you I see some metaphors that would desire to symbolize which you're thinking approximately your destiny and are uncertain approximately it. First it relatively is the top of a college twelve months you would be a senior or going into your senior twelve months. this may be a great transitional time for little ones. you have additionally probably to have been taking an outstanding variety of exams on the top of the college twelve months so which you have exams on your recommendations. perhaps there have been recruiters around perhaps a number of your persons actual signed up...perhaps you merely observed a militia movie or television prepare and had militia on your recommendations. The call substitute may be a logo for id. you would be thinking who you're. all of us think of approximately who we at the instant are and back and to different tiers. in case you have been a girl i'd advise a attractiveness substitute to intend marriage, yet for a guy, it would be merely thinking who you relatively are. You mentioned that your buddy scored a ninety 9 and you scored a fifty 3. all of us have worry of failure. on a similar time because it can not be precisely failure. you would be frightened approximately getting a sturdy job, going to college, or passing very final exams. you apart from would reported jealousy on your dream...did any of your persons at the instant get something new like a clean vehicle or an more advantageous grade than you. you will actual be jealous of somebody. i don't be attentive to I merely tried to think of of what that would desire to intend. i like goals and determining what they might mean. i seek for extra contemporary interpitations than the older classic ones.

I'm only in the reserves in the USAF. I like the travel, the people, and being away for a weekend a month is nice..no home, no kids, no work. It's nice to make a FEW extra bucks for the weekend and at the end of the carrer, you get a little retirement money and benefits.
That's the real short answer

The best reason I joined the Army was cause I love my country, I also like to travel and see different countries. I also like the excitement of special missions I went on, one slip up it could cost my partners life or mine. So it was a great rush , when mission was accomplished
