In every community there is a government facility, unfortunately it changes from state to state. In Florida it is HRS(Health Resources service), In Georgia it is DFCS(Department of family and children's service) Of course there is always 911, or the local emergency room. You might can call 211, which is the 411 for resources, but they will likely tell you that if you are doing research to get off the line because they have people in crisis that are trying to get through. You should have called your local child abuse hot line!!! Or social agency. It also depends on what form of child abuse you are looking at. Physical abuse, verbal???
