Also, is it OK if you become interested in Catholicism due to interest in politics and belief in Catholic views on these matters.

All Jews and Christians (including Catholics) believe in the First Commandment. That God should be first in our lives and that everything else should flow from that love and devotion.

Having your whole life centered on God means to help make the world a better place and would, of course, include one's politics, and social and cultural issues.

All reasons are okay for becoming interested in Catholicism. God calls us each in different ways.

With love and prayers in Christ.

The Catholic religion, is what the Protestants came out of. That is why we are all Christian. Martin Luther protested the political practices of conversion by death as in the Spanish Inquisitions, and the crusades. That is why the first Protestant church was the Lutherans. Some of these Protestant religians, still wanted to hold on to some of the Catholic views, and some discarded most of them, and some discarded all of them. But we are still all Christians. The problem is that even though other religions still lump all Christians together as one entity, we are not all alike in our beliefs. We all don't hail Mary as a queen or goddess in heaven. Catholics are a political power because of the beliefs of the early church, and they continue them in political debates, such as abortion, they still try to sway the world to their beliefs. Just because they want to have all of the children they can possibly have, doesn't mean that everyone wants to. This is only one view where they intersect. There are many others to. The KKK is supposedly a Christian organization hiding behind the Knights of Columbus. The name they go by now. The Presidents, are usually Catholic, and all of the problems of political debate comes up when one is in office. War, abortion, gay rights, they are all debatable topics. It is usually the Catholic church that promotes these topics, for or against. It seems as though the Catholic church wishes as though it could come into our homes and monitor our behaviors to see if we are living life like they are. After all, don't they still use confessionals?

First, by making use of the very life of the non-organisation clause, the separation is one directional; from religions to state. needless to say the regulation itself routines some criminal ability over the non secular institutions, so the state is influencing the religions. 2nd, I have not any concern with a pulpit getting used for political applications, as long because of the fact the church (temple, mosque, and so on.) pay taxes. Involvement in government skill paying the piper. And, to be in line with non-organisation, for any governmental activity, regulation, and so on., the argument provided could be thoroughly secular or thoroughly ignored.

The Catholic church sees living in society and faith in a loving God as intertwined. We are olbliged to speqak out againgst injustice and feed the hungry, protect the weker members of society, protect he planet God has given us dominion over...Don't mean to sound 'preachy' but you cant do any of that and not be interested in politics or social issues. ....The Catholic church is not just anti-abortion/anti-female ordinations......Justice for all workers; anti-euthanasia; anti-death penalty; rights of refugees.dignity of the poor, sick & aged .......etc..... Also Last blogger before me implied KKK & Knights of st Columbus were in cohoots.....Better tell the racist, anti-papist' KKK"s (that means against Rome & the Pope,,,I believe they call him the anti-Christ) that that means anti-Catholics....duh!
