If I understood your question correctly... I am quite against it.
In relationships like this, there is always someone that eventually gets hurt, particularly for the person who unintentionally falls (no matter how hard she/he tries not to) and somehow expect the other person feels the same way.
I will probably never get into such, even if a lot of people may consider it the greatest thing since sliced bread. I find it me more of a temporary fun and just a possibility getting myself hurt. It may only be a waste of time and energy when there's not much to guarantee... I could have spent looking for a partner who's bound to stay and I can say really worthy of my time. In that process, I can also say I have also compromised my values, took someone's heart and trampled on it, and probably racked up some bad karma points.

this is a very iffy situation.. friends with benefits never really stays "friends" with benefits for long because eventually you will fall each other you may not think so in the beginning but it happens and sometimes it's not a bad thing because it will be one of the best relationships you will ever experience because it's magical

Let me try to answer this as best as I can. Yes, you can have friends that you can get benefits from. It just depends on what kind of friends you are looking for!!!

Your robbing yourself of a real relationship. It may seem convenient, but is it really worth it? You have to respect yourself before anyone else will respect you. Don't you feel you deserve more ? And if this were really a "friend", wouldn't they respect you more than just to use you for the "benefits"?

Means you are friends but also get to enjoy the sexual opportunities. No commitment, just friendship and sexual satisfaction.

Big benefits and big risks. A regular BF might be a better option but you know your situation best. Good luck & be careful.

Well iff'n ye b' mates, b' meanin ye or he b' likin' mates with benifits b' just away fer th' one not likin' as much t' b' havin' cake an' th' chum?
So when somthing ey' b' seein' as better b' comin' bout, ey' b' sailin' on.
O' et' b' th' one who b' likin' more, thinkin' iff'n ey' b' doin' th' OO AH AH, t' b' makin' th' one not likin' as much t' like more?
At which case ey' b' sailin' out o' disrespect. an b' losin' ye mate t' boot?
an' iff'n ye do b' stayin' friends b' losin' ye freindship when one o' ye b' gettin' a love interest, th' freindship b' endin' out o' undue familiarity, so b' losin' th' freind?
Ye can b' lover's an' mates, b' not mates an' lovers. Thar b' more reason than needin' t' get OO AH AH from a mate than t' b' conveint, search fer th' reason first. But ye b' aware idon't ye mix OO AH AH with "just mates" iff'n ye want t' keep th' freindship, o' iff'n ye want t' move t' a lover's statis in th' future.
Iff'n ye b' th' one who b' waitin' fer ye lover t' come, an' ye mate b' th' one b' wantin' t' move t' a deeper relationship, ye will b' hurtin' th' person ye call ye mate!

That's cool as long as you both agree as to what the rules are, otherwise someone may get hurt and then you lose a friend.

QUESTION?

SURE, FWB IS A GREAT WAY TO AVOID ANY KIND OF ATTACHMENT OR EMOTIONAL INTIMACY FOR THOSE WHO ARE AFRAID TO GO THERE.......FOR A LITTLE WHILE...

INEVITABLY, SOMEONE WILL LONG FOR MORE FULFILLMENT, AND WISH THEIR PARTNER WOULD FILFILL THEM.........

BUT IF THAT WASN'T THE ORIGINAL AGREEMENT, THEN SOMEONE IS ALWAYS HURT OR DISAPPOINTED.

SOME GIRLS DO THIS BECAUSE THEY THINK THAT THIS IS WHAT GUYS WANT, BUT THEY END UP FEELING SAD, LONELY, AND USED.
