Do good acts for the people in nursing homes. You have no idea how lonely some of them are. As to prisons and juvenile facilities, some Bible study groups can be approved, but it is a little chancy.

Visit them. Almost all of these places have Christian programs. Would I be willing to try? Maybe a t the detention center. I'm not good with old people or criminals

People shut away in their homes or centers LOVE to have visitors.
Call your local detention center & ask about the programs they offer. If they don't have one, talk to your Pastor or Missions leader about starting one.
These are the simplest & most rewarding tasks a Christian can offer - leading people to the Lord who may never otherwise have the opportunity to learn about Him.

Easy - go to those places and just be an ordinary person helping them. Don't preach, don't mention anything about religion - remove all personal agendas about spreading the faith - and just be ordinary and love people. Do that and the message will get across. Just make sure to never ever mention anything about religion or belief; it will always backfire.

First a person has to know how much you care; before they will care how much you know. Just be a mentor to people because you really care about them. That is your first and best withnes for Jesus.
