How do I record my shows on tv onto a vhs?

Yeh i'm pretty new at this and it's sad actually that I don't know how to do this on my own but since i have a vhs and dvd player built together (i bought it cheap at walmat) so I tried many times but really don't know how to record shows on tv to a vhs...can anyone help?

connect the cable from the wall to the "RF in" jack on the vcr. take another cable and connect it from the "RF out" jack on the vcr to the "RF in" jack on the tv. Set the vcr to record whatever channel you want.
