That is a poetic way of saying let me make my own mistakes. I like it. Or, a very polite way of saying, "butt out".

the more one knows the more one finds out they don't know. I, too, am on a quest for knowledge, wisdom, enlightenment as are all others. the knowledge wisdom and enlightenment we seek and receive as we travel this plane of existance can be overpowering at times as well as conflicting. one needs to be able to stand up for one's own convictions yet be ready, willing and able to change them if and when other knowledge comes along to prove the orginial were wrong. learning is a continious process and what one believes true today could be proven to be false tomorrow.

My goodness, his words are like piercing arrows to the heart.
It meant "He seek your forgiveness and to allow him to dwelt upon the pain which he unknowingly had inflict upon you as he felt that through his own actions had done great injustice(refering to his defeat) to you without realising it.
In my opinion, he must be a great Man, To knowingly accept his own errors that he did not realise he did is a noble act.
May the days ahead of you both be full of happiness and wisdom.

Sounds like he was being truthful. He would rather enjoy life to it's fullest according to beer commercials, than accept Gods laws that would inhibit his fun.

Your boy just wanted to be allowed to feel sorry for himself for a little while. That can be somewhat satisfying for a moment believe it or not. I can understand how someone would feel to say that.

Interesting way of saying, "I was wrong and I have learned from it." I suppose. I cannot think of a nicer way to apologize, can you?
