I heard about an organization that sets you up with a soldier either here or overseas, and you can like write letters of support, send care packages and stuff. I just don't know what the name is. Can anyone help?

Thats real sweet of you. Although Canadian, I served with the US Marines in Viet Nam and never received and "care packages". I was only 18 and too young to have a gf. My Mum sent lots of letters, though.

Even though you may not be an American, you could probably explore enlisting in the US military! They are always keen to accept volunteers, since it is difficult to get Americans to enlist in the numbers required for all their international commitments.

I don't know if Canada will take non-Canadians, but you can enquire. That way you'll meet lots of Canadian troops personally.
