Sounds like you have TMJ and can be treated by a doctor. Usually surgery to place a wire in the jaw is required.

For the last person that answered this. Trigeminal neuralgia is a severe shooting pain in the face. Sounds like TMJ or a possible Sinus infection. I have facial numbness and jaw pain with a sinus infection. Although, anytime you have numbness, something neurological is going on. You should probably see a doctor.

If i were you i would go right to the hospital you could have had a small stroke but then again maybe you have a bad tooth in there, but to rule out the facial numbness thing I would go to the hospital. Maybe they can give you something for the pain.

if you start having a head ache, with the symptoms you describe you are having a migraine. You might start seeing little bright lights and your left arm and hand might become numb too. Take some pill for the migraine and try to sleep. Be careful because there's is a chance that you throw up. If yo do throw up after you take a pill, take another. If you are old enough to take sleeping pills, take one and relax. A migraine is a psychological issue, too much pressure or worries. Relax and sleep

It sounds like Bells Palsy. Are your facial muscles drooping on that side? See a doctor ASAP. If it is Bells Palsy, he'll prescribe a lot of meds.

It sounds like Bells Palsy. A temporary disorder. Comes from the chicken pox virus. Both my husband and I have had it. There is no cure, but it does go away. It can last for a couple of months. See your Doctor. Good Luck!!!

Go to the emergency room. If you still have wisdom teeth, the roots could be growing into the nerve that runs through the middle of your jawbone, and it could have permanent effects such as a drooping face on that side. It could also be a sign of a stroke. Good luck! Get help fast.

If you take medication, you could have had an overdose accidentally (i did that once, and had your symptoms) But other than that, I really don't know and would definately contact a doctor before it gets worse. Hope you feel better!
