Is love supposed to have a very deep connection and strength where each lover takes the other into consideration in all the major decisions, and where the love should be among one of the highest priorities?

When two people are in love, it is like making a statement to each other that each of them will not think in "me" terms anymore, but that they will start thinking in "us" terms...this means that every decision that has to be made has to involve both of them...and should be taken only if it is convinient to both...

When you love a person, that person is more important to you than your own self...and that by itself indicates a connection and strength that is so great to the extent that it overshadows one person's self interest...and results in two lovers working together in everything as one and prioritizing love above everything else!!!

Love is being willing to face risks to see your spouse's dreams come true>>>A happy relationship is the union of two good forgivers>>>Good listeners make good lovers>>>Love is the happiness of your partner more than your own>>>Love is giving more and never keeping score>>>Lean on each other's strengths forgive each other's weaknesses.

yes it is. love is the most powerful feeling that anyone could have. Love is also not a one person thing when it comes to a relationship. It takes two people to make it work. cause if there is only one than it is not truely love. it would only be infatuation if only one person loved the other one.

If it's married love it should have the things you speak of. Selfishness is reason most marriages break up. One person wants to do their own thing.
