I've been together with my boyfriend for a long time and I have always known that he is not a good loonking guy. Would that be a barrier for you?

ewww...i like girls
well with women, physical attraction does play a part, depends on the individual how much but, what i notice is that i will chose a girl who is average looking, that has an awesome personality that i get along wiht so well, compared with a pretty girl with no personality.
what im saying is i have no problem with a girls looks as long as there is attraction between us.
just to let you know, my success rate is ok with women. i do alright. i notice i will sleep with girls that look good, only becuase i want sex, not becuase i want to date em. i wouldnt trust those type of girls anyways.
girls i date, do look a bit average in comparison but im with them cos our personalites click and we get along so well. i value these types of girls more.
if you like, or 'leerrvvve' your boy, is his physical a barrier for you?
it all comes down to what each person is looking for. i guess look wouldnt play a barrier for me as long as we 'leeerrve' each other. thats all that matters to me.

I am a guy but as far as a girlfriend no. Physical appearance should not matter. A guy that's not a model will treat you like a woman instead of a sex object or a punching bag. Most women don't give us guys that's not so good looking a chance. If women would give us guys that is not so good looking more of a chance women would figure out that we are better than those good looking model looking guys and we won't have those egos they do. We have a better heart and know how to treat women the way a woman should be treated. Since you said you have been with your bf a long time I am assuming that he treat you good, so keep him as long as he treats you good (and I'm not talking about him spending money on you money should not factor into whether a girl or guy goes out with the opposite sex and should not be used against the other(in other words don't be a gold digger)), if he doesn't treat you good get rid of him.

He's not my boyfriend so why would that bother me? I think you are bothered otherwise you would not have posted the question here. Ask yourself truthfully, is looks important to you and to how much an extent? What about his other redeeming qualities? Can you deal with having an ugly boyfriend or you love him because he is kind, funny, smart etc...

Personality should be rated above appearance. Is he fun, and nice? Does his inside make him look better? The best looking people are usually the worst personality people. They look good and you may feel good being by them, until they open their mouth and always say something that makes you feel worse about yourself.
