I believe with some people an evil genie pops out of hearing people, and they like causing trouble for people that are deaf, like blowing whistles at them even though they wear hearing aids. That is considered very funny.

They enjoy calling you retarded, and stupid. They don't call people that wear glasses to see stupid or retarded. And deaf people seem to have to be Psychic, when people have made every attempt to prevent the deaf person not hear what is going on. So they can laugh at you.

I have an Idea about why they do it. It called being an animal, survival of the fittest so to speak, that opinion is made by my reading about animals and their behavior, there is many similarities.

I cannot really say why it is so, but I cann tell you from own experience, that it is difficult. I hear "normal", thus I have trouble how the world might be for somebody who cannot hear. One of my biggest hobby is music, so how could I possibly share that with a deaf one?? I am somehow afraid of getting close to a deaf one, because I don't know how to behave (though I do know some sigh language).

In the other hand, those talking by sign language only often isolate themselves ... the build groups among each other and one without knowledge of sign language will not be able to get into "their" society ...

You see, it takes an open mind from both sides to get along and to develop an understanding for each other.

I would have to say because it is something that they never experienced. It is nearly impossible for a person that can hear to understand what a deaf person has to go through. Again, that is just my opionion.

I don't have any problems with deaf people. If your attitude is nice I would like you the same as anyone else.

maybe cuz they dont know how to act or react....epecially when youre young and deaf or close to it (like me, Im 24) people get mad at me sometimes cuz I dont hear. My hearing boyfriend blows the f.uc.k up sometimes when I "ignore" him. I think people are rude cuz they dont know or dont know what to do

The majority of people can hear normally.
and therefore are not used to communicating with the hard of hearing like you and i. but why they are so rude. i don't know.

yes "you and i" means i am also hard of hearing
a several thousand watt stereo system will do
that to you.
