Dont hate Its not good for your overall health!
I love animals to, that's why I am a vegetarian.
There are a lot of meat substitutes, soy sausages, mock chicken, vegetarian burgurs, meatless ground, meatless slices (for sandwishes). The list goes on.
It is important that you get all the 22 essential amino acid that constitutes whole protein, by combining cereal ( rice, pasta, bread, bulghur, couccouc, oats, millet etc) with beans ( soy, tofu, lentills, chick peas, lima beans, kidney beans, peanuts, etc)
Eat nuts also.
Dont forget to eat lots of vegetables and fruit, its good for you. If you cut out dairy products, (vegan style) take B12 supplements.
You can find some dairy products that comes from farms that treat their cows and goats with dignity, at health food stores.
You also want to consider using only skin care products, make-up, household products and other products that are not tested on animals.
Thank-you and G-d bless you for protecting innocent creatures!

There are many differet kinds of vegetarianism.
Some people call themselves a vegetarian when they eliminate red meat, but still eat chicken and seafood. Eliminating meat and poulty earns you the title pesco-vegetarian.
Your traditional vegetarian (lacto-ovo vegetarian), what most people think of, does not eat meat, poultry, or fish. They do eat eggs, dairy, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and soy proteins.
A lacto vegetarian is the same as above except they do not eat eggs. An ovo vegetarian eats eggs, but not dairy.
A vegan stays away from animal products entirely, skipping meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, and oftentimes honey. They also do not buy leather products or other goods that require exploiting animals.
To get your proteins, you want to eat complimentary sources of vegetable proteins, for instance rice and beans compliment each other and make a complete protein. So do peanut butter and wheat. Soy protein is wonderful because it is a complete protein all on it's own. Try tofu, seitan, and textured soy protein.
You can also find many vegetarian meat substitutes nowadays. I personally love Morningstar Farms Veggie Corn Dogs. They are excellent!

There are various type of vegetarians. Laco vegetarians eat dairy products including milk and cheese, alternate sources of protein. Vegans do not eat any form of animal, meat or biproduct.
Soy is an excellent source of protein. You can buy soy in non-meat hamburger patties. Tofu is a form of soy and a good source of protein.
Beans and rice are a good source of protein, but you would have to make sure if you buy cooked beans they were not cooked in an animal fat.
There are many vegetables, especially dark green like brocolli, that have small amounts of protein. Just remember the body needs some protein to rebuild itself including blood and bones.
Now, to the other question about being a vegetarian. Do you wear shoes? Are they made of leather? That is an animal biproduct!! Do you like going to McDonald's for fries?
Don't hate the Chinese or other Asians because they eat dog. So do people in many South American countries. But then should the people in India who revere the cows as a sacred animal hate Americans for eating beef? Learn to be tolerate of other cultures. Don't make judgments until you have walked the walk and walked in their shoes.
Remember, being a vegan or vegetarian is a major lifestyle.

there are different types of vegitarians. Some don't eat red meat, some don't eat any type of meat, some only eat wild game (deer, pheasant, etc) some don't eat eggs or meat, nor have dairy products, etc. The choice is yours to make. Do some research on it on Google or something. Make an educated decision based on what you feel is right.
If you don't eat meat at all, please be mindful of other protein/iron and b-vitamin food sources or take a supplement.

a real vegetarian eats NO meat! A lacto-ovo-vegetarian abstains from meat (which contains chicken and fish), yet nevertheless consumes egg and dairy products. A vegan abstains from ALL animal products (e.g. meat, dairy products, honey, and eggs) and does not placed on outfits made from animal fibers and abstains as much as is sensible and achieveable from products that are examined on animals. a individual who eats rooster or fish yet does not consume pork isn't a vegetarian! in actuality, the understanding "vegetarian" replaced into coined with the help of the people who based the Vegetarian Society interior the united kingdom interior the 1840s to describe somebody who abstains from ingesting all animal flesh.

Hi,
I am a vegetrian myself:) Good for you that you decided to become vegeterian.
However, different people become vegeterian for different reasons and there are many diff types of vegeterian.
First, you have to decide what sort of vegeterian you want to become. How "strict" do you want to be with your vegeterian diet?
- Do you want to eat eggs?
- Do you want to eat cheese?
- Do you want to drink milk?
- Is it okay to consume vegetables that are cooked together with meat?
Anyway, changing some of your diet is already better than no change at all so do not have to force yourself to become a vegan (eat nothing but vege only) if you dun feel comfortable.
But even as a vegan, you can take:
- fruits
- vegetables
- nuts and legumes
- mushrooms
- toufu
If you live in Singapore and really want, I can share with you where to find good vegeterian food ;) hehehe..
Also, it is imp to eat healthily when you are vegeterian so that you can ensure you get all the nutrients you need. Would be a good idea to take some supplements to supplement nutrition intake and i recommend 100% natural ones. I am taking VPlus for that.
Also, you are welcomed to come to my cafe which serves vegeterian food :)
Good luck. For more info about vegeterianism, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com

Well you need to eat lots of protein.
There are lots of good sources - all different types of beans and lentils.
You should avoid anything with soya in it as it contains toxins because of the way it is mass produced in the west. Also much of it is grown on land that was rain forest in Brazil.
