Yes but dandelion leaf has a stronger diuretic property.

I believe it's good for the liver, which filters things in the body. As for getting rid of retained water, I am unsure of that. I have had the organic dandelion root tea and it's ok.

Yes, but you will also evacuate good minerals like potassium and magnesium...Drink a lot of water and go easy on sodium instead.

not sure about that but either vitamin b6 or b12 (can't remember which one) is a natural diuretic that will help reduce water retention
