Me and my friend work with his dad and mom's company in setting up and doing the audio for several jewish shows in Brooklyn, NY. Most of the time, they shows feature all female casts and men are not allowed at which my friend's mom has to do the video recording. (Me and my friend are both black teenage boys) Usually, after setting up we just go and play video games in a secluded spot away from the from the girls. But when we walk around the school, we will get strange looks and sometimes dirty looks from them. My friend tells me, that their religion and culture plays a huge part in who they marry, date, etc. Is this also true with foreign jewish girls from Israel and the Middle-east? Are they encouraged to not seek interracial-relationships; especially with blacks?

An orthodox girl won't care so much about race but will never date or marry someone outside her faith. Don't waste your time.

They are encouraged to marry only Jewish men in their religion. And their religion does play a big part. But it won't hurt to ask.

I don't think it has to do with you being black. Jews are brought up to marry Jews so it's not a matter of your color but that you don't have Judaism as a religion. Of course many Jewish people marry outside of their religion and many marry people of different races too but the majority marry other Jews.

i dont think they only not seek out blacks but they are encouraged only to have a dating or marriedd relationship with orthodox jewish guys . so it would not matter if you're black or anything else if you are not orthodox they will not have a relationship with you

Sure. I'm a Jew but not orthodox jew, but i know all about them because my cousins are orthodox. It doesn't matter if ur black or white or what your backround is. They are aloud to date anyone they want to aslong as the parents agree or aprove.

a girl loves a guy and vice-versa ( homo's excluded) , so go break the ice with ur girl, start talks , initiate a friendship and when u feel it right go ask her out
