My puppy is fine in the morning, but it's at night when she runs all over the house as fast as she can (we call them laps), Chews on nothing but my leg and everything in my room (besides her toys), and growls and barks a lot!

Welcome to the wonderful world of puppy-hood. The good news is that it gets better.
1. Unless your puppy is alone try not to let her sleep during the day so she will be more likely to sleep at night.
2. Take her to Pet Smart (the place where dogs can go in the store) and let her pick out a few on her own toys.
3. The laps indicate a great deal of energy & r totally normal. Do something in the evening that will burn some of that energy-Walks/Ball throwing etc...
4. Try to keep going to bed close to the same time ea. night so he will est. a routine.

Most Importantly: Whatever u do- DO NOT reward this behavior.Ignore her when she is trying to get u up. If not she will continue because it works.

Alot of dogs are active at night til you change their internal clock. Night time is the hunting time and she is active at this time cuz of the natural instincts. Wear her out during the day and make her settle down in the evening. Dont participate in the play in the evening.

She's just being a puppy! Try giving her a lot more exercise in the evenings, walks, play ball, whatever she likes and she'll calm down.

Uuuummmm..... Energy, much? =P

Do you play with her during the day? Do you give her things to do to release her energy /during the day/? =P Try keeping her up aaalllll day, and don't let her snooze off for a second. She /should/ be tired by night time. That's what I didn't with my puppy when he would stay up at night and whine and howl. I kept him up all day unitl he could barely even stand anymore. Boy, was he out that night. xD And after that, they should get their schedule right and get used to sleeping at night and staying up during the day. Hope this helps, and good luck! ^_^

Feed her, potty her and make sure that she has had enough exercise. Maybe keep a night light on.
