They get married for all the wrong reasons. Marriage is not like it use to be in the old days, now people just getting married for stupid shyt...Here are some reasons for example
a) She pregnant with my baby, I don't wanna pay child support.
b) He/She was cheating before we even got married, maybe he will change if we get married.
c) He/she looks good
d) Maybe if we get married we can save money *house, car, bills*

You have been watching WAY TOO MUCH TV! Where do you get these ideas? Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman. Yes, divorce is out of control but the ONLY reason it is is because people are egocentric. They do not invest in their relationship they just want to take from it and that doesn't work. There are MANY marriages that have lasted and will last. My own has been 29 years so far. I, as a man, have no desire to cheat or get divorced. Do I look at other women? Yes, and my wife knows that because as a male I am visual. Does that mean I want another woman? No, and I, like most other men, have had the opportunities.
Here's some interesting statistics, though (these were compiled by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association several years ago so they have changed somewhat)
1 out of 2 marriages end in divorce.
1 out of 50 marriages end in divorce when the husband and the wife attend church together regularly at least 3 times a month.
1 out of 500 marriages end in divorce when the husband and the wife attend church together regularly at least 3 times a month AND pray together and read the Bible together.
Interesting isn't it? Marriage can last. . . but it takes work and having God in the middle of it doesn't hurt.

Well in England most people don't divorce, i think about 1/3 do. The divorce rate is going down but then again so are the number of marriages!
I don't know if most cheat but maybe one slip in a life time together is not the end of a marriage.

what i have seen is the following...
1, people getting married too young
2, people not having a clue in what they want or are looking for in a partner
3, giving up to easily what some one does not get what they want the first thing out of there mouth is DIVORCE
personally i think guys should not get married till they are at least 28.

even though they might end up divorced or cheated on, they still take the risk for:
>love, companionship
>convenience
and not all marriages end up that way...
it's just me though.

They do not have the proper foundation, which is a likeminded belief in Christ. Marriage is also a commitment before GOD. Not just the spouse.

i can tell u for a fact that it is all due to lack of communication! physical communication, verbal communication, sexual communication, emotional communication, and so it goes....did i say...communication????? the thing is most marriages end not because they don't communicate...but more they don't know HOW...and i mean how as in to get through to their significant other.....and that means being sensitive to knowing how your partner listens and HEARS ... and how you communicate constructively....well that's my opinion anyway..
