Should I consider having sexual relations with my female bestfriend, me and her talk about everything but will sex ruin or strengthen the relationship between us? Is lust getting in the way of friendship, should I talk to her about it as a mature adult or leave things unsaid and preserve the friendship???

The relationship does kind of change after this. You should be open and honest with her and tell her how you are feeling. If you talk about everything else, then this should be ok to talk about too. You just need to think about where the relationship will go from there after the deed is done.

If its just for sex and there is no being in love or wanting a permanent romantic relationship then I would avoid it. Satisfying your sexual urges can be done in other ways and you will get attracted to others in the same way. A best friend is very very difficult to get---so cherish that---its more precious than all the sex in the world.

Just talk to her about how you are really feeling. The chances are she is feeling the same way. Sex is not what ruins the friendship it is immaturity that would ruin it if anything.

you need to understand that once you have sex with her, the dynamics of the relationship will change. are you prepared for that change? it will be like taking your friendship to a different level and that may influence the way you communicate. careful

it depends on the people sometimes it does strenghten the relationship and sometimes it tears it apart. you wont know it until it happens. but you should discuss how you feel about her to her.
